Mr. Will
Mr. Will brings a decade of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience. Teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to all levels from kids to adults. He has competed throughout his entire BJJ career in a variety of tournaments in the United States to test his abilities on a national scale. Most notably taking the podium at several International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation tournaments such as the Pan American Championships, Austin International Open, and New York International Open.

He is also a former Collegiate swimmer with eight years of competition experience. His freshman year of college he received the Rookie of the Year award and was passed down their legacy jacket. His sophomore year he was voted into the Student Athlete Mentorship program (Mentor) and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (Advisor) by the university. His senior year he was chosen as captain of the men's team. During this time, he was awarded by the New Jersey Athletic Conference as Swimmer of the Week for his competitive performance within their conference. In addition, he contributed academically to allow the men's team to receive the All-American Scholar award multiple times throughout his four years on the team.

Graduating with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University, Coach Will has worked in both sports' performance facilities and sport rehabilitation centers. Training kids from all ages, from a multitude of different sport backgrounds, to be safer and more capable as athletes. Learning and coaching alongside accredited Strength Coaches, Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainers which allowed him to continue his education and further his understanding of how to safely train young athletes.

Working as the head coach for The Swim Gym. He taught their competitive, noncompetitive, and special needs swimmers. Additionally, he mentored their large staff of coaches, sharing his expertise of how to properly train/coach children, to better enhance the overall quality of the swim lessons.

Coach Will is proud to be able to bring all of his experiences into his academy to help grow his students to become more confident, disciplined and capable on and off the mats.
